Mason Baby Portraits: Highlands Ranch

January has been a busy month for us- it’s hard to imagine that it’s already over and we’re now in February! A couple weeks ago we had the pleasure of meeting Nami & John and their two adorable boys, Mason & Tyler. Mason is a little under six months old and was all smiles almost the entire session! His big brother Tyler kept us entertained while we gave Mason a few breaks from the camera and made the day that much more fun. We had such a great time photographing their family and love the way the photos turned out! Everyone was so nice and so easy to work with. We’re really excited to get to work with them again later this summer when we take pictures of the whole family together. Can’t wait to work with them again!

Gall & Ziesman Family: Highline Canal Portrait Session

Sometimes it’s hard to believe I graduated high school 10 years ago! Especially when you see someone you haven’t seen since graduating and it’s like it was yesterday. I’ve known Emilie since I was 14- yikes that was forever ago! Through the power of Facebook- seriously what did people do before this was invented- we got connected all these years later. When she told me she was going to be an aunt and wanted her sister to get their photos taken once the baby was born I was very excited to not only see Emilie but get to see her family as well. We met Sara and her husband with the rest of the family at their parents house here in Highlands Ranch. Since the highline canal is so close we figured it would be a great location for the pics of the family. Little Sawyer is absolutely precious!!! He’s the first grandchild/nephew in the family and you can tell how much love they all have for this little guy. We had a wonderful time with everyone and love the photos we walked away with. Here’s just a few from our session- enjoy!

The Morrison Family: Portraits at Lakewood Heritage Center

It’s so much fun to see couples who go from being the bride & groom to being a mom & dad. Angel & Collin were one of our past couples who we actually met before they were even engaged when Collin’s sister, Melissa, got married in 2007. We then had the pleasure of photographing their wedding two years ago. So much can change in two years and Angel & Collin now have little Neale. And geez is he the cutest! Michelle couldn’t stop smiling while she was getting these photos ready to post- he’s adorable! They make such a beautiful family and we were so happy they contacted us to be able to work with them again. We took their pictures out at Lakewood’s Heritage Center last weekend and had a great time with them. Neale is 6 months old- perfect age for photos to get that toothless smile:-) Here’s a sneak peek.

Baby Mackenna: Newborn Portraits

It’s amazing how God brings people into your life. Who would have thought that when Michelle purchased my guitar 2 Christmas’s ago at a little shop in Parker (Allegro is awesome by the way) that the guy who helped her pick out my guitar would be married to the girl whose profile we just happened to come across on a local photography group’s site and meet just a few weeks later? And, now a year and a half has passed and they have a new addition to complete their family. Stephanie & Ted are two of the nicest people you will ever meet and we are so happy for the two of them! On April 5th, little Mackenna was born and we had the pleasure of taking some newborn photos for them when she was just a few weeks old. She is adorable… and all that hair!! It was our first time photographing a newborn session so we did a little research beforehand to make sure it was a comfortable environment for little Mackenna- they fed her shortly before, the room was nice and warm, and there was rock music playing in the background… huh? Okay well maybe most babies like soft lullabies but this little girl prefers rock instead, it was the funniest thing. Anyway, the session went well and we had a great time with the three of them. I even got to use my new lights since the clouds decided to hide the sunshine that afternoon. Here’s some of the pics we took. We wish Stephanie & Ted the best- God Bless!
