Larkspur Senior Portraits: Sade

The day after Allison + Adam’s session in Larkspur we headed back down there again for our session with Sade but this time over to Columbine Open Space. Apparently everyone else decided it was a good day for a session there as well! There were probably 4 or 5 other photographers there that afternoon but with the wind and on and off sprinkles of rain we quickly had the place mostly to ourselves again (a little rain never hurt anyone right!?) Sade is a senior this year in Denver and I have a feeling she has modeled a few times before- she’s definitely a natural in front of the camera! We had a lot of fun with her and her mom Myriam that afternoon! We are so glad the weather did hold off and never fully rained on us but the clouds did make for cool looking skies for some of our pictures. We were even able to incorporate some images with a cap and gown to change things up a bit. Sade is an artist and we were fortunate that Myriam shared a few images of Sade’s paintings with us. She definitely has a talent for it so hope she continues to pursue that passion! Nothing better than being able to express your creativity in art! Here’s some of our favorites from the day:-)

The Brunner Family: Mt Falcon Family Portraits

There’s nothing better than getting to see a couple who we photographed their wedding a few years ago and have now started a family. Sarah & Luke got married in 2012 up in Breckenridge and we heard from Sarah’s sister-in-law back around Christmas that they were expecting a little one. Well Benjamin just couldn’t be any cuter! He wasn’t quite sure what to think at the beginning of our session up at Mt Falcon last weekend but it didn’t take long and he was all smiles! We loved getting to see Sarah & Luke again and just seeing how happy they are especially with this little guy in their lives. They also brought along their dog Walter who you’d swear is still a puppy! The pictures of him and little Benjamin turned out adorable:-)We are so happy for you guys and what a little blessing you have in your lives! Hope we’ll get many more chances to take pictures of your family and of Benjamin as he grows! Here’s a sneak peek- enjoy!
